Most small business websites fail one of two tests. Either they don’t show up when someone’s looking, or they do show up — and lose the visitor inside of ten seconds. Neither is a design problem. Both are strategy problems dressed up as design problems.
We build websites on WordPress, using lightweight builder tools such as Breakdance — the kind of platform choices that give you a fast, modern site without locking you into proprietary software that’s hard to leave. The platform stack isn’t the story. The story is that we build the site around three questions most designers never ask:
That third question is where most agencies stop working. We don’t. Every site we build connects into your Volusia Digital CRM, so the form submission turns into a tracked lead, a reply, a follow-up sequence, and a calendar booking — not a notification you’ll miss on Tuesday.
Web design and development is one of the places we’re fully hands-on. We do the discovery, the copy direction, the build, the launch, and the ongoing technical updates. If you want to edit your own pages after launch, you can — the builder tools we use are built for that, and we’ll train you on them. If you don’t, that’s what the monthly plan is for.
Most of our plans include managed WordPress hosting on our own infrastructure — fast, secure, Cloudflare-configured when appropriate, backed up daily, monitored around the clock. If you’re happier on your own host, we work with most reputable providers and can help you pick one.
Hosting gets overlooked by most businesses until it causes a problem — and it’s one of the few parts of a website where doing it wrong quietly costs you money for months before anyone notices. We wrote a full article on hosting fundamentals that explains what actually matters, what to ask, and what to walk away from.
We schedule a discovery call. We ask about your business, your customers, your current site’s performance (or lack of it), and what “a website that works” would actually change for you. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll tell you and point you somewhere that is. If we are, you get a proposal with a fixed scope, a fixed price, and a timeline you can plan around.
Who owns the accounts? If the agency owns your Google Ads account, your domain, your CRM, or your email list, you don’t own your business. You own the revenue your business produces as long as the agency agrees to let you.
Can you explain what you’re doing in plain English? If the answer is complicated, confusing, or full of industry acronyms, find a different agency. Complexity is usually how people justify prices they can’t justify any other way.
What happens if I cancel? Some agencies lock you into 12-month contracts with penalties. Some hold your assets hostage. We don’t do either. You own your site, your domain, your ad accounts, your CRM data, and your email list. You can leave. We’d rather keep you because the work is good.
Call (321) 300-2460 or email [email protected]. We’ll ask a few questions, tell you honestly whether we’re a fit, and if we are — we’ll send you a proposal you can read in ten minutes without a calculator.
