Suspension Help

Your GBP got suspended. Now what?

Your phone stops ringing, your map listing disappears, and Google's message tells you almost nothing. Most suspensions reinstate when the appeal is documented properly. Some take weeks. A few never come back. The outcome depends on how the appeal is built.

What we do when your profile gets suspended:

  • Full audit to identify the likely policy violation that triggered the suspension.
  • Documentation package built to Google's actual reinstatement requirements.
  • Submission of the appeal through the official channel with the right verification evidence.
  • Follow-up if the first appeal is denied, which is more common than you would expect.
  • Honest assessment if your profile is unlikely to come back, with a recovery plan that does not depend on it.
We do not guarantee reinstatement. Nobody honest does. What we guarantee is that the appeal will be done properly the first time, which is usually the difference.
Verification

Verification is harder than it used to be.

Postcards get lost. Video verification requirements are stricter. Service-area businesses often get flagged. If you have been bouncing between verification methods for weeks, you are not alone.

We help with:

  • Video verification, including the script, the shots Google wants, and why videos get rejected.
  • Address verification by postcard when video is not an option.
  • Service-area business setup with no public storefront.
  • Reverification after a suspension or merge event.
  • Multi-location verification.
Optimization

GBP optimization is included with every monthly performance plan.

If you are paying someone separately for GBP optimization on top of a marketing retainer, you are being upsold on work that should already be part of the package.
Optimization is not a one-time setup. Your profile competes daily. Posts go stale. Photos lose relevance. Competitors update categories and pass you. Ongoing work is what keeps you visible.

What is included with all monthly plans:

  • Category selection and refinement based on what top-performing local competitors are doing.
  • Services and products populated with descriptions, pricing, and the keywords customers search.
  • Regular GBP posts, updates, events, and offers.
  • Photo strategy and uploads, including exterior, interior, team, and work-in-progress shots.
  • Q&A management, seeding common questions and responding to public ones.
  • Attributes, hours, holiday hours, and special hours kept current.
  • NAP consistency monitoring across your website, GBP, and major citation sources.
  • Monthly insights reporting so you see which keywords and actions drive calls.
Reputation Management

Fraudulent reviews can come down. Legitimate negative reviews need a response.

Google's review policies are stricter than most owners realize. Reviews that violate policy are flaggable, and a properly documented flag has a real chance. Reviews that are just negative but legitimate are protected, and trying to remove those is bad for trust.

Reviews that can usually be flagged:

  • Reviews from competitors, former employees, or anyone with a conflict of interest.
  • Reviews about an event that never happened or a service you do not offer.
  • Personal attacks, profanity, or harassment that violates Google's content policies.
  • Off-topic reviews unrelated to your business or services.
  • Coordinated review-bombing or attack campaigns.
  • Reviews with personal data or content that violates Google's privacy policies.

Reviews you should respond to, not remove:

  • Legitimate complaints from real customers, even difficult ones.
  • Critical reviews where the customer is factually wrong but the experience was real.
  • Three- and four-star reviews with constructive feedback, these often become five-star reviews with the right response.
We help you tell the difference, build the documentation for what can come down, and write professional responses to what should not.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about GBP help.

Anywhere from a few days to several weeks depending on what triggered the suspension. Soft suspensions tied to a recent edit can resolve within 72 hours. Hard suspensions tied to policy violations usually take one to three weeks for the first review. If the first appeal is denied, the second pass takes longer.

The first denial is not the end. Google's denial messages rarely explain what is actually wrong, so the next step is identifying the real reason and submitting a second appeal with additional documentation. We have reinstated profiles on the second and third attempt where the first was denied flat.

No, and any service that guarantees review removal is misleading you. Google reviews come down when they violate Google's content policies, and Google makes the final call. What we can do is build the strongest documented flag possible for reviews that genuinely violate policy.

The most common triggers are address changes that look like keyword stuffing, recent edits to business name or category, multiple profiles tied to the same phone or address, service-area businesses with insufficient verification, and reports from competitors.

No. GBP help does not require Google Ads spend or paid Google support. Reinstatement and verification happen through the standard public channels. If anyone claims they have a direct Google contact who can reinstate your profile for a fee, treat that as a red flag.

Permanent disablement is the hardest case. Some can be appealed, especially if the disablement was based on incorrect information about your business type or location. Others cannot. We will look honestly and tell you whether an appeal has a realistic chance.
